Privacy policy
What rustsrvr.com collects, why, and what you can do about it. Last updated 16 October 2026.
Server data
The server list is built from public information Rust servers publish about themselves: name, description, player counts, map and wipe times. None of it is about you.
Accounts
Signing in is optional and goes through Steam. We receive your Steam ID, name and avatar, and store them with your favourites, settings and badges. If you link Discord, we also store your Discord user ID and name to give you the matching roles.
A session token is kept in the local storage of your browser so you stay signed in. Preferences such as filters are kept there too.
Visit counting
We count page views with our own counter, not a third-party analytics service. Your IP address is used for about a minute to stop one address from inflating the count, and is not stored. We keep daily totals only.
Advertising
We show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads, including ads based on your earlier visits to this and other sites. Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first.
You can turn off personalised ads in Google Ad Settings. How Google uses data from sites that show its ads: policies.google.com.
Hosting
The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes requests to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse.
Your data
To have your account and everything tied to it deleted, or to ask what we hold about you, message us on our Discord.
